American professional basketball player Greg Brown III plays for the Ontario Clippers in the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Texas Longhorns. Brown was selected to the All-Central Texas first team for the third year running. He received District 13-6A MVP, Texas Gatorade Player of the Year, and Austin American-Statesman All-Central Texas Player of the Year awards as a senior. Brown guided Vandegrift to a district championship and a 33-3 record, a program record. He was chosen to participate in the McDonald’s All-American Game, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced its cancellation.

He was later exchanged for a future second-round draft pick, cash, and the Portland Trail Blazers. In time for the NBA Summer League in 2021, Brown joined the Trail Blazers. The Blazers released Brown on February 9, 2023. Brown was purchased by the Ontario Clippers on March 2, 2023.
